For first-time visitors to our practice, we offer short-term stays of 1-3 days, which include participating in our daily morning and evening practice. For qualified practitioners (who have already sat a retreat with ZCR), residential opportunities are also available for long-term stays in the Zen Center.

If you are new to our Community and to our practice, we will require a short self-introduction, describing a little bit about your background, your experience with meditation practice in this or other traditions, and the reasons for your wish to practice with Hyon Gak Sunim / Zen Center Regensburg, at this time.

For the effectiveness of your experience, we strongly encourage overnight stays so as to absorb the total temple experience. However, if for some reason you wish to sleep outside the Zen Center, here are some nearby hotels you can pick from:
