For millenia, churches and temples have been built through donations. As time passes, and our world grows ever-further from a donation-culture, we must come up with new methods for building and maintaining our meditation centers.
Hyon Gak Sunim has a big vision to establish a Zen farm/temple in the beautiful countryside just outside Regensburg city limits. If you donate here — no matter what amount — we will use these funds to purchase lottery tickets. These tickets will be “scratched off” by Hyon Gak Sunim and his Team here in the Zen Center. All winnings are dedicated 100% to the realization of this project.
We hope to purchase an old monastery like this, just outside the city, and then to have intimate Dharma gatherings like this.
From March 6 until March 25, our online shop will be quietly resting.
During this time, the shop manager is on a solo retreat, dedicating these days to silence, reflection, and deep practice. For this reason, orders and shipping will pause for a little while.
The shop will reopen on March 25, and we will continue serving you with renewed clarity and gratitude.
