We are so excited to announce that Hyon Gak Sunim will be giving public talks on “The Diamond Sutra” every Sunday during Winter Kyol Che. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to ask your questions in a Q&A session.

“The Diamond Sutra” is one of the most profound and influential teachings of the Buddha. It not only offers us insights into the nature of reality, but also shows us how we can live freely and calmly in a complex world.

Twenty years ago, during a similar series of events in Korea, Hyon Gak Sunim attracted thousands of listeners to his talks on “The Diamond Sutra” — his clear and practical explanations deeply touched people of all backgrounds. It is known that some 50-60 people in Korea became monks and nuns as a result of being inspired by Sunim’s historic talks, which were filmed and broadcast on Korean TV and were a big sensation in Korean Buddhism. 

Now we have the rare chance to experience Hyon Gak Sunim guiding us through this important Sutra live again — right here, in Zen Center Regensburg! — and also online, since the talks WILL be broadcast on our Zen Center Regensburg YouTube Channel. Here is the link to our YouTube Channel.
